Best Photo Settings for AI Figure Video

Lighting, framing, and backgrounds that survive Seedance-style motion.

AI figure video is only as good as the still. These settings reduce mushy edges, color drift, and background noise when you run photo-to-video for designer toys.

Framing and focus

Keep the whole figure in frame with a little margin. Crop later if needed; missing feet or antennas force the model to invent geometry.

Focus on the face or primary paint face. Soft phone portrait mode that blurs the figure itself is usually worse than a simple sharp wide shot.

Light and background

Even, diffuse light beats dramatic single-source shadows. A white or grey seamless look is ideal for marketplace spins.

Busy city posters and patterned rugs introduce motion artifacts. If you want a mini-scene, still start from a clean figure plate when possible.

Export and upload

JPEG or PNG under a few MB is fine. Extremely large phone dumps can hit browser or host body limits — compress slightly without crushing detail.

Always tick owns-rights. Brand collabs and licensed sculpts need your own legal clearance before public posts.

FAQ

Phone or camera?

Either. Sharpness and background control matter more than brand of camera.

Can I use a shelf photo?

Yes for social flexes; for listings, re-shoot on a plain background when you can.
